CharComp is a versatile compressor that also adds a “character” control. It can be used on tracks or single instruments as well as on busses or for
mastering.
The compressor section uses adaptive attack and release times to respond to macro and micro dynamics equally. The additional “character” control can be used to reduce compression within low or high frequencies, allowing to easily add “boom” or “air” to the processed audio.
